Valerie Plis is a Master Certified Career Coach, Strengths Coach, president of Exceed With Purpose Coaching, founder of the Job Search Ministry Network, and author and developer of the One Critical Day job search program. She has over 20 years experience in Human Resources including Employee Relations, Training & Development, and Career Planning & Development. Valerie spent 14 years with a career development firm where she served as Vice President until her resignation in January of 2009. Valerie has presented nationally on the area of assessments, authentic vocation, and job-search mechanics for state and national organizations such as the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals, National Rehabilitation Association, Project SEARCH, Transition Conference, various professional associations, local job search support groups, and many more!
In January 2009 Valerie launched Exceed With Purpose Coaching, a coaching and consulting firm working with a variety of clients from around the world. Her team of certified coaches offer a powerful combination of:

- industry-recognized training around the use of the StrengthsFinder assessment to develop strong individuals and teams
- a passionate faith and commitment to pursuing a strong life and career in alignment with Biblical principles
She also pursued her passion for ministry by launching the Job Search Ministry Network, a Christian-based organization with a mission to equip churches with cutting-edge training, curriculum and ministry support so the church could minister to the unique needs of individuals and families dealing with the physical, spiritual, and emotional impact of a job loss in this new economic reality.
